Regular Session 2 October 16, 2006 <br />Oersonnel <br />"There were no personnel issues to be discussed. <br />Old Business <br />Building Project Update <br />Scott Dunlap from AI3 gave an update on the RMHS building project. He reported that the project will now <br />qualify for additional reimbursement up to the amount of $57,069,381, which is different from the original <br />amount of $53,012,316. <br />Mr. Dahl inquired about the status of the punch list on the part of the high school that has been completed. <br />Town Meeting Preparation <br />Mr. Schettini and Mr. Dunlap gave a power point presentation on the high school contingency. This <br />presentation is in preparation for a meeting with the Board of Selectmen on Oct. 17th and the November town <br />meeting. <br />Mrs. Gibbs moved to request that the Board of Selectmen and/or Town Manager submit an application <br />under Mass General Laws Chapter 59 sections 21C(k) and 21D to the Massachusetts Department of <br />,evenue for determination that additional borrowing in the sum of $1,350,000 may be included under t <br />for the <br />h such debt to be approved <br />Seconded by Mr. Dahl. The motion passed 6-0. <br />Budget Transfers <br />Ms. DeLai gave a short presentation about the request for budget transfers within the FY07 budget to offset <br />some additional anticipated costs in special education and school building maintenance. <br />Mrs. Gibbs moved to authorize the transfer of $80,000 from the FY07 Regular Day budget to the FY07 <br />Special Education Budget and $120,000 from the FY07 Regular Day budget to FY07 School Building <br />Maintenance budget as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum dated October 12, 2006. <br />Seconded by Mr. Caruso. The motion passed 6-0. <br />New Business <br />Financial Forum <br />Mr. Schettini discussed the upcoming Financial Forum on Wednesday evening, October 18, with the Finance <br />Committee and Board of Selectman. The Superintendent's recommended budget will be presented to the <br />th <br />Finance Committee on December 15 <br />
