MASS. <br />Zofli R 3a A 2b t <br />Call to Order <br />Chair Webb called the regular session to order at 7:35 p.m. at the Coolidge Middle <br />School Multipurpose Room. Present were Ms. Webb, Ms. Gibbs, Mr. Caruso, Mr. <br />Michaud, Mr. McFadden, Mr. Dahl, Superintendent Patrick Schettini, Jr., Director of <br />Human Resource and Finances Mary DeLai, Assistant Superintendent John Doherty, Fin <br />Com Representative Chuck Robinson, Fincom Representative Harold Torman, Wood <br />End Principal Richard Davidson, Birch Meadow Principal Tom Daniels, Barrows <br />Principal Karen Callan, Joshua Eaton Principal Patty deGaravilla, RMHS Principal <br />Joseph Finigan, Killam Principal Paul Guerrette, Chronicle Reporter Doug Wood Boyle, <br />Reading Advocate reporter Melissa Russell, AI3 Representatives Scott Dunlap and Phil <br />Callahan, and Design Partnership Representative David Capaldo <br />Chair Webb read the mission of the Reading Public Schools. <br />Epilepsy Foundation Award <br />Mr. Anthony Cerullo, president of the Epilepsy Foundation, talked about the Epilepsy <br />Foundation and the Award that was presented to Grade 3 students. Each student who <br />received an award showed their piece of art work and read their passage. Mrs. Webb <br />congratulated the students on their achievement. Mr. Dahl thanked Mr. Cerullo for his <br />efforts in teaching values to the school community. <br />There was a short recess at 7:55 p.m. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 8:00 p.m. <br />Bills and Payrolls <br />Bills and payrolls were circulated to all members of the committee. <br />Citizens' Input <br />There was no citizens' input. <br />Gifts <br />There were no gifts presented this evening. <br />Reports of Chairman, Liaisons, and Superintendent <br />Superintendent Schettini reported on several items: <br />• The Parker Middle School Future Cities Engineer Team came in 5th place at the <br />National Competition in Washington D.C. during February Vacation. <br />Superintendent Schettini praised the staff and students for their achievement. <br />• i71b'll J1:11VV1 .7La~~+ yauu .t~+vvivvu u b~.~... - <br />Festival. They will be performing at the State Finals on Sunday, March 25th <br />• High School Jazz Ensemble finished in the top 5 of all Jazz Ensembles at the <br />University of New Hampshire Jazz Competition. <br />
