Reading School Committee <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />Resular Session January 3, 2005 <br />Call to Order <br />Chair McFadden called the School Committee to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Coolidge <br />Middle School Multi-Purpose Room. Present were Mrs. Gibbs, Ms. Webb, Mr. <br />McFadden, Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Dahl and Mr. Spadafora. Also present were <br />Superintendent Schettini, Associate Superintendent Richards, Human Resources and <br />Finance Director Mary DeLai. <br />Chair Francis called the Finance Committee to order at 7:31 p.m. Present were Mr. <br />McDonald, Mr. Francis, Mr. Grimes, Mr. Torman, Mr. LaLecheur, Mr. Bolger Mr. <br />Robinson and Ms. West. <br />Mr. Shubert called the Board of Selectmen to order at 7:42 p.m. Present were Mr. Duffy, <br />Mr. Hines, Mrs. Anthony and Mr. Shubert. <br />Bills and Payrolls <br />Bills and Payrolls were circulated for signature. <br />t <br />Citizen's Input <br />X~ <br />w~ <br />There was no Citizens Input. <br />, <br />Old Business <br />' <br />Q) <br />co <br />Mr. Scott Dunlap stated that punch list at the Wood End School has been finalized and <br />still is not completed as of this date. <br />Mr. Dunlap stated that Robert Peirce is no longer at Flansburgh Associates. There would <br />be no gap in coverage on the project. The Barrows project is on schedule. There are no <br />change order requiring action at this time. <br />Mr. Carpenter asked if there were any additional asbestos or damage to the infrastructure <br />at this time. He was told there was not. <br />Mr. Dunlap stated that the Reading Memorial High School project had reached a <br />milestone. The exterior of the building had been enclosed so that the interior work can <br />commence. <br />6 <br />i. <br />
