Regular Session -2- June 6, 2005 <br />Mrs. Gibbs made a motion to nominate Ms. Webb as School Committee Vice Chair. <br />Mr. McFadden seconded the motion. The vote was 6-0 Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Dahl, <br />Mr. McFadden, Ms. Webb, Mrs. Gibbs and Mr. Spadafora <br />Mr. Carpenter stated that Ms. Webb tackles many issues. He stated that she had an <br />impressive resume, as well as, being a mother of four sons. He approves of her <br />nomination. <br />Mrs. Gibbs stated that Ms. Webb is a pillar of the community. She stated that Ms. Webb <br />works very hard for children. <br />There was discussion regarding the School Committee summer calendar. <br />Mr. Carpenter stated it was a mistake to go a month without meeting. <br />Mr. Dahl stated they needed a series of building update. <br />Chair Spadafora suggested that all members email their vacation schedules to Mrs. <br />Engelson for July and August. <br />Superintendent Schettini stated they needed to meet regarding policy changes and goal <br />setting. <br />Chair Spadafora stated there would be a School Committee meeting on June 20, 2005. <br />Adjourn <br />Ms. Webb moved to adiourn. Mr. Dahl seconded the motion The vote was 6-0 <br />Mrs. Gibbs, Ms. Webb, Mr. McFadden, Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Dahl and Mr. Robert <br />Spadafora <br />of Schools <br />
