Executive Session June 16, 2008 Secretaries Contract The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Caruso, seconded by Mr. Michaud, to accept the contract agreement with the Reading Administrative Secretaries Association as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum to the School Committee dated June 16, 2008 with the attached contract changes for the years July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Also, to further move to authorize the Chair to sign the contract on behalf of the Committee and to handle anv minor editorial corrections. Roll call vote approval 6-0-1. Mr. Hechenbleikner abstained. Para -educators Contract The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Caruso, seconded by Mr. Michaud, to accept the contract agreement with the Reading Paraeducators Association as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum to the School Committee dated June 16, 2008 with the attached contract changes for the years July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Also, to further move to authorize the Chair to sign the contract on behalf of the Committee and to handle any minor editorial corrections. Roll call vote approval 7-0. Custodians and Maintenance Contract The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Caruso, seconded by Mrs. Janowski, to accept the contract agreement with the Reading Custodial and Maintenance Employee Association as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum to the School Committee dated June 16, 2008 with the attached contract changes for the years July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Also, to further move to authorize the Chair to sign the contract on behalf of the Committee and to handle any minor editorial corrections. Roll call vote approval 7-0. II. Adjournment The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Michaud, seconded by Mrs. Webb, to adjourn executive to enter into Open Session not to return to executive. Roll call vote 7-0.
