V ` \v <br />READING HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Minutes of the Meeting of May 8, 1989 <br />A regular business meeting of the members of the Reading Housing <br />Authority was held on May 8, 1989 at the office of the Authority, <br />22 Frank D. Tanner Drive, Reading, Massachusetts. The meeting <br />was called to order at 7:30 P.M. The Chairman, Richard S. Dempster, <br />presided. Other members present and forming a quorum were: Mr. <br />Sweet, Mr. Reynolds, Mr. McIsaac and Ms. Galvin. The Executive <br />Director, Margaret K. Plansky, was also in attendance. <br />Minutes <br />The Board reviewed and discussed the minutes of the meeting of <br />April 10, 1989 as presented. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. <br />Sweet and seconded by Mr. Reynolds, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To accept for the record the minutes of the meeting of <br />April 10, 1989, copies of which had been distributed to the Bo <br />for their review prior to the meeting. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Finances <br />The Board reviewed the checkroll /billroll through check #2051 <br />as presented. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Sweet and seconded <br />by Ms. Galvin, it was unanimously <br />VOTED: To approve and sign the checkroll /billroll for the period <br />through check #2051 as presented. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />Electrical - The Authority was not able <br />lighting installed in the dark areas on <br />under the modernization contract becaus <br />Executive Director has obtained a price <br />the floodlights and outside receptacles <br />duly made by Mr McIsaac and seconded by <br />to have additional outside <br />Frank D. Tanner Drive <br />s of the high cost. The <br />of $355.50 to install <br />as needed. Upon a motion <br />Ms. Galvin, it was unan mously <br />VOTED: To authorize the necessary electrical installation of <br />floodlights /outside receptacles as submitted in the amount of <br />$355.50. <br />The Chairman then declared said motion carried and said vote <br />in effect. <br />
