We will concentrate on emergency preparedness kits for families. <br />What should be included in such a kit? What should we pack if we receive an evacuation order? <br />Game: Perhaps we could devise some kind of guessing game for which items should be <br />included in such a kit. The game could be for kids and / or for adults. <br />Fire Chief: Ron will contact him since the chief is our Emergency Management Director. <br />Joan will let the Lion's Club know that we will attend F& F Day. <br />Report on recent events: <br />Bike swap successful: Joan reported, about 50 or 60 bikes traded. <br />Classroom presentation: went well, Gina, David, and Ron. They gave their presentation to two of Jen <br />Cambra's classes at Reading Memorial High School. <br />Washington trip, Ron said that his trip was successful. The rally was called Reject and Protect and <br />included both Native Americans and ranchers from the Midwest who wished to stop the Keystone XL <br />pipeline. <br />Page i 1 <br />2013 -C9 -03 <br />
