D'Addario <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />Agenda Item: Review and approve minutes of March 26, 2014. <br />Earth Day Review: <br />a. Joan spoke of a job well -done. Ray's relay went very well; birdhouses and <br />walks also seemed to be appreciated. Joan recommended that next year we <br />reach out to nursery schools. <br />b. Compasses and magnifying glasses went over very well. <br />c. Garden club binocular giveaways and RMLD light bulbs were also well <br />received. <br />Gina mentioned the "Walk Reading Weekend ". May 31St and June 1St. Wear red and <br />walk Reading. Walkable Reading is attempting to find out how many miles they <br />walked. Need to log onto Facebook. <br />Girl Scout Meeting on March 28th occurred with Gina. Four fifth grade girls were <br />working on the energy badge. Gina has done presentations with girl scouts before. <br />Gina also has an Energy Saving program put out by the Girl Scouts; it's designed to <br />be used by the older girls to present the program to younger girls. <br />Green Business Award: Laurie Ann is not present. <br />Page 1 1 <br />2013 -09 -03 <br />
