Town of Reading - Meeting Minutes <br />Town Website: <br />Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for our section in the town's renovated website need to <br />be sent to Joan. The following action items were taken from the minutes of our last <br />meeting. Sarah is interested in having her students do a project <br />during their home room period while Martha is looking for her environmental club students <br />to do some planting at the new traffic island at Oakland Street and Birch Meadow Drive. <br />Joan Is awaiting a reply from the Reading Garden Club's president Evelyn Pyle. The climate <br />committee has agreed to help with their activities. <br />School Climate Change Education <br />Gina is working to set up a meeting with Jen Cambra to work out details for our visit to her <br />class. She asked that we present the Kill -A -Watt meter to her class. Because she does not <br />have her class assistant this year, Jen has asked that we scale down our activities <br />previously planned for her class. However, we may be doing some teaching in her <br />meteorology class next semester. <br />Joan suggested that we look into the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) for our schools. <br />They present a climate change information assembly for the entire school.
