*I-- Town of Reading <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Board - Committee - commission - Council: <br />Climate Advisory Committee <br />Date: 2013 -09 -25 Time: 7:00 PM <br />Building: Reading Municipal Light Building Location: <br />Address: 230 Ash Street <br />Purpose: semimonthly meeting <br />Attendees: Members - Present: <br />RECEIVED <br />TOWN CLERK <br />FADING, MASS. <br />1013 Do I l Pry 48 <br />Joan Boegel, David Williams, Gina Synder, Laurie Ann Sylvia, and Ron <br />D'Addario <br />Members - Not Present: <br />Ray Porter and Michele Benson <br />Others Present: <br />Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Ronald D'Addario <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />Opening and review of minutes from previous meetings <br />Shortened Meeting 30 minutes: The members agreed to terminate our meeting early (7:30 <br />p.m.) in order to attend the RMLD board meeting to hear a report from the Metropolitan <br />Area Planning Commission (MAPC) presented by Mr. Ani Krishnan. <br />Minutes for September 11, 2013 were approved with the understanding that they would be <br />put Into the new format prior to being forwarded to the town clerk. <br />Laurie Ann Sylvia announced that she was confirmed by the selectmen and is now a full <br />voting member of the Reading Climate Advisory Committee. Congratulations were given to <br />Laurie by the members. <br />Green Business Award (GBA) <br />David, Laurie Ann, and Ron will meet tomorrow, September 261M1 at 9:30 a.m. at Jordan's <br />Furniture to meet with Scott Wantman, store manager and Matthew Busnach, facilities <br />property manager. <br />Ron will send photos and a short description to our local newspapers on the presentation of <br />the Green Business Award to Longwood Place. Although our article was printed In both <br />papers, the photo was not Included. <br />Laurie Ann will follow -up on Muffie's Salon for a possible GBA. <br />Page 1 1 <br />
