I. Call to Order
Chairperson Robinson called the meeting to order at 8:02 p.m. and reviewed the agenda.

FYI Budget Update
Ms.DeLai updated the School Committee on the FYI 1 budget and indicated that she is requesting two
budget transfers to offset deficits in the Athletics and Extracurricular program budgets.
Mr.Michaud moved,seconded by Mr. Caruso,to authorize the transfer of up to $20,000 from the
Regular Dav Cost Center to the Other Programs Cost Center. The motion carried 5-0.
Mr. Michaud moved,seconded by Mr. Caruso,to authorize the transfer of up to$23,000 from the
School Building Maintenance Cost Center to the Other Programs Cost Center. The motion carried
5-0.
Mr.Michaud commended Ms.DeLai on her budget development and management.

C. New Business
Director of Student Services Search
Chair Robinson turned the meeting over to Dr. Doherty.
Superintendent Doherty introduced Katherine Harris. Ms. Harris is currently is the Administrator of
Special Education for the Triton Regional School District. She gave a brief opening statement.
The School Committee asked Ms. Harris a series of questions ranging from professional challenges,
thoughts on parental relationships, accomplishments,challenges and curriculum.
Ms. Harris thanked the School Committee for this opportunity.
Chair Robinson called a brief recess at 8:47 p.m.
The meeting was called back to order at 8:51 p.m.
Dr.Doherty briefly described the search process and indicated that he will announce his recommendation
to the School Committee on Wednesday evening.
Superintendent Doherty introduced Alison Elmer. Ms.Elmer is currently is a LAB(Learning Adaptive
Behavior)Cluster Coordinator for the Boston Public Schools. She gave a brief opening statement.
The School Committee asked Ms. Elmer a series of questions ranging from professional challenges,
thoughts on parental relationships, accomplishments, challenges and curriculum.
Ms.Elmer thanked the School Committee for this opportunity.
Chair Robinson called a brief recess at 9:25 p.m.
The meeting was called back to order at 9:26 p.m.
Dr.Doherty reviewed the next steps in the search process and welcomed input from School Committee
members.
Mr.Michaud thanked the screening committee for their work on this search.
