Scenic Roads
Board discussed their action as pertains to the adoption of
the rules and regulations for "Scenic Roads".
- Planning Board has sole authority to write and adopt
the rules and regulations they deem necessary;
- Since Conservation Commission and Historical Commission
must abide by those regulations adopted,` informal con-
currence from each Board should be obtained;
The Board has listened to the Board of Public Works con=
cerns as a courtesy and will continue to hear their
suggestions on the same basis;
Citizen groups can sponsor warrant articles for specific
roads (without the Planning Board, Conservation Commission
or Historical Commission approval), but Town Meeting
cannot act without one Board's recommendation.
