Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m. in the Lower Level Conference Room at Town Hall.
Members present: Jack Russell, Ron O'Keefe, Jr., Dolores Carroll and new member Louise C.
Callahan. Jack Russell, acting as Chairman Pro Tem, led the meeting until Chairman Phil Pacino
arrived a short time later.
Guests Present: Town Manager Peter Heckenbleickner, Town Clerk Laura Gemme, and Town
Counsel Ellen Callahan Doucette.
The meeting began with a review of the first draft of the recodification, with the goal being the
completion of Section 2 by the end of the meeting.
Grammatical changes were made, as well as those to format, punctuation and the addition of titles to
numerous sections.
Section 1.6.7 was deleted from Section 1.

> A major change was the removal of the "s" from General Bylaws, so that the title now reads "General
Bylaw".
The committee will continue to meet on a monthly basis so that formatting and housekeeping
changes are ready for presentation at the Subsequent Town Meeting on November 14, 2011.
Minutes #293 were read and on motion of Ron O'Keefe, Jr., seconded by Jack Russell, the minutes
were accepted by a vote of 4-0-1.
