The Planning Board next appeared under Article 5 which cdlled for
the adoption of an amended zoYiin by-law. The Board was rC- pre sente ? by
Chairman Winthrop D. Parker and Mr. P31i.Lip White and by Professor 7 i.s,
Consultant, The By-law was explained both by the members of the Board
and Professor Adams.
The Board of Selectmen, Chairman Killam. and Mr. Gooddrldge appeared
on Article #3 calling for additional funds for the two-bra y° radio system
for the Police Department. Mr. i ld.,r^ Stated th<` t after a, thorough canvass
of the matter it was found that the appropriation grade at the annual meeting
of 12300 was not su'F°fic 3_ent to purchase and install a system which would
be satisfactory,, and asked for an additional {'COQ-CEO,
In executive session the following votes were taken:
Under Article 3• On motion of Mr. Trevor, seconded by Mr. Connelly it was
voted to recommend that ACC, O0 be appropriated from E v J Account for the
purpose set forty": in this article.

Under Article 8. On motion of Mr. Connelly seconded by Mr. Trevor it was
voted to recommend appropriation of 175-00 From E & D Account
Note: The appropriations from E & D Account were glade in accordance with
a verbal authorization from the Division of Accoznnts*
Under Article 5 - Soning By-law. On motion of I'.'Tr. Correll seconded bye
dir. Trevor it was voted that no recommendation be made on account of lack
of sufficient, study.
Under Article 9. it was voted that no recommendation be made.
Under Article 10. It was voted that no recommendation be made.
