The records of the last meeting were read and approved. The budgets under the jurisdiction of the Board of Selectmen were first t taken up and Mr. Trevor reported for the sub co:rui- ittee, they having been in confe-rence with the Selectmen on the previous evening, Mr. Trevor called attention to some changes which had been agreed upon and a general discussion was held prior to taking action, The '-Planning :hoard was represented by Chni:ruan Philip R, White who presented the budget for 1938, being an amount the same as was appropriated for 1937. He spoke of the revision of the zoning by-law which was about ready to be presented to the `t'own. Chairman Louis ail. Lyons of the Library Trustees appeared for the Library budget asking for ;;5,195.00 for Salaries and $3,000.00 for I=aintenanc He explained that the slight increase in the salary appropriation was due to he added number of hours the library would be kept open and stated that the use of the Library was constantly increasing, He also called attention to the lack of room and predicted that in the not very distant future it would be necessary to enlgrge the library building, The Committee then went into executive session and the following votes were passed: Budget No 29 22 24 28 1 2 3 . 5• 6, Subject M2y2 d by.
