Gray, ALA, Chairman, Susan Patterson, Vice-Chairman, Kathryn Greenfield, Secretary, Dorothy Casolaro, David Kruh Members present: Members absent: Michael Gray David Kruh Kathryn Greenfield Dorothy Casolaro Susan Patterson The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. -0 Approval ofMinutes~ f> The minutes of the November 3, 2005 meeting were reviewed and approved without changes by a vote of 4-0. General Business ➢ Susan and Kathy will alternate to check the WSHDC Mailbox weekly, or thereabouts, beginning with Susan checking in December and Kathy in January. ➢ There was discussion about what to do with correspondence as it is received, and it was agreed that it should all go to the Chairman. ➢ Mike brought to the Commission's attention the fact that, since the Commission was formed, work had been done to two homes in the District, without proper application and review. The Commission discussed how to proceed considering the work at neither 119 nor 232 West Street seemed obtrusive. The Commission agreed that it is time to get out a general letter to the homeowners in the District, alerting them that the Commission exists, and is "up and running." Kathy will draft that letter. Additionally, a separate letter should also be sent to the homeowners who have done the work at 119 and 232, informing them that the Commission would like to review the work that has already been done, and would like to "go through the hoops" and establish precedent and a paper trail, for the sake of consistency. Mike will draft this letter. Documentation There were only minor changes made to the form of Certificate. No changes were made to the Application or the Guidelines. Next Meeting The next meeting of the WSHDC is scheduled for December 12, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
