1. Update of Grade Level Projects
K - birthdaywishes.org Goodie bags are being created, cards are being made, plan on early
April for donations
1 - Senior Center - Valentines day cards are being created, they hope to keep relationship back
and forth with St. Patrick's Day, and end with a party
2 - Service men and women - Letters will be sent in April and perhaps a relationship established
3 - Representative not in attendance
4 - Jimmy Fund - Valentines Day cards were created and they are creating cards for St. Patrick's
Day
5 - Heifer Foundation - They are working on a read a thon, spirit week, bookmarks, and a an
animal writing project (persuasive essay)
II. Haiti Relief and Jump Rope for Heart
Haiti relief totaled over $1000.00
Jump Rope for Heart will be done in April
III. Blue Ribbon Update
We are hosting in April -
Recommendations include - art work, update resource area, create Birch Meadow Cares
Bulletin board, have t-shirts for kids, and update the science garden
