Minutes from February meeting approved.
Pennies for Peace
• The reading of the Book during Advisory went very well.
• Donations are still being accepted.
• Over 200,000 pennies have been collect so far.
MCAS
• The first day is always the hardest with the long composition test
• Some students did not finish until the end of the day.
• Students all seemed to do their best.
Hoops for Heart
• Was a huge success.
• Great day for the students to be active and learn about heart disease.
• Last count Coolidge raised over $12,000.
• Thinking about making next year's event be a school wide all day event. Much
like the Science Olympiad Day.
Blue Ribbon Conference
• An expected 48 representatives from other communities will be coming to
Coolidge for a site visit.
• Last year Parker hosted the site visit.
• In future years the site visit will flip back and forth between the two schools.
School Vision
• Challenging Standards and Curriculum
• Looking for a few questions for staff and community to reply to.
• Thinking about using a website like Survey Monkey.
