Other Business to add to agenda - There was a brief discussion hbout`i" leading Patch" online
news as a potential additional venue for the Green Sense articles, however, there is some additional time
required to upload articles there, so the committee decided to put this thought on hold for now.
Home Energy Efficiency Actions - HEET: On track for 11/13 barnraising event. Flyers and
emails have been used to reach out to potential volunteers. Joan will meet with Brittany from EMARC
to go over the plans. Joan is asking Audrey for help in finding skilled team leaders. MassSave will visit
the EMARC house on 11/19 to do an audit. Joan updated the tasks and supplies spreadsheets. Blower

members will continue to ask friends and relatives.
Business 1-2-3 Pledge - No updates. An upcoming Green Sense article highlights green
practices at the coop bank, and in researching the article, Ron asked if they would be willing to share
their experience at a round table or similar event. We still need to find out what the business community
might find interesting and motivating, and need to see if there is a green business certification program
we could work with.
