`i The Reading Contributory Retirement Board held a meeting on January 26, 1999, Conference Room, Town Hall, Reading, Massachusetts. Meeting called to order @ 9:00 A.M. Minutes from previous meeting(s) accepted as read. The Board accepted applications for retirement pending approval of PERAC for: Constance M. Leoncello, DPW as of 3/26/99 - Superannuation Option A The Board accepted new membership for: Paul Adams, School Custodian 9% Kevin Aberle, Highway Dept. 9% Approved return of accumulated deductions for: Christopher Patterson $ 8373.60 (resigned from position with public works) Donald J. Nadeau 150.00 (buyback makeup overpayment) Philip M. Cail 72.61 (buyback makeup overpayment) The Board reviewed and approved the following: Voucher # 1999 - 1 - Wang Government Services, Inc. 2 - The Segal Company 3 - Donald J. Nadeau Philip M. Cail 4 - U. S. Postal Service (stamped envelopes) 5 - Reimbursements to other systems 6 - Town of Reading Treasurer 7 - Town of Reading Treasurer 8 - Christopher Patterson 9 - Corporate Express 10 - Boston Retirement Board 1,51100 expense 500.00 expense 150.00 refund 72.61 refund 185.20 expense 29,790.86 reimb. 3(8)© 2,308.44 admin. 326,546.58 payroll 8,373.60 refund 23.65 expense 6,990.09 reimb. 3(8)© Arthur Harvey, Ass't Registrar from Probate and Family Court has contacted Mrs. Fennelly's Attorney. Judge McGovern will schedule status conference before any further action is taken to enforce Dec. 1, 1998 Order against Tom Fennelly. This is in response to Board letter to Judge McGovern. Letter of confirmation from PERAC regarding Board's acceptance.of Option C pop-up. Board voted in acceptance of Mr. Boissoneau's nomination paper with 20 legal signatures. 669 Page two Velma Francis has been approved for survivor increase due to retroactive payment of Veteran's benefits in excess of 80% limit under Dargan v. PERAC. Robert Pratt was approved for post 1/12/88 option c pop-up. Tarpin and Austin are pending. Appointment of Rosamond Cotter as Retirement Board Administrator/Assistant Town Accountant approved.
