Present: Mary Andreola, Lois Bond, Gladys Cail, Diane Guilfoyle,
Ginny Lane, Linda Nordberg, Loretta Spaulding
Absent: Virginia Bizzarro, Frank Day, Dorothy Foxon, Fred
Perry-Patrons
Meeting was called to order at 5:37 P.M. by Chairperson Gladys
Cal in the Arnold Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street.
Minutes of the December meeting were accepted on a motion by
Ginny Lane and seconded by Diane Guilfoyle. 6-0-0
Financial Report
Appropriation sheets were handed out and reviewed by Lois. it
was moved by Diane Guilfoyle and seconded by Loretta Spaulding
that this report be accepted. 6--0=0
Director's Report
It was moved by Ginny Lane and seconded by Diane Guilfoyle that
the Director's Report be accepted. 6-0-0
Lee Roberts, Friendly Visitor's Coordinator for Reading met with
the Director and outreach Worker of Lynnfield to set-up a
Friendly Visitor's Program for their town.
old Business
Names were mentioned by Board Members as possible endorsers of
the Council on Aging fund raiser letter for the new van.
Contact names of local businesses and organizations will be
received in order that a van fund raiser letter may be forwarded
to their attention.
Senior Center Relocation survey -.Gladys Cail indicated that ap-
proximately 43 individuals had responded on the relocation sur-
vey.
New Business
A thank you note was sent by Gladys Cail to the Patrons of Older
Adults in care of Fred Perry, thanking them for the $4500 dona-
tion for the Shopping Assistance Co-ordinator program.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 P.M. which was moved by Linda
Nordberg and seconded Loretta Spaulding.
