Minutes from the June 28, 2000 meeting were read and accepted.
Minutes from the May 31, 2000 meeting were signed by the board members.

Middlesex County's Supplementary Regulation: `Regular Compensation-Motor Vehicle Use':
On July 21, 2000 Wayne MacDonald, the Office Manager at the Middlesex Retirement Office, informed
me that the board members are currently re-writing the Supplementary Regulation due to some legal
issues that have come up. They will then send it to PERAC for approval. Their next Retirement Board
meeting is August 17, 2000. Tom Gibson is the Retirement Boards attorney.
A transfer of $53,537.13 was received from the Danvers Retirement Board for Raymond Graves of the
RMLD.

Peter I. Hechenbleikner sent out an evaluation of the Town's legal services to the Reading Retirement
Board. The Legal Services Review Committee was formed by the Board of Selectmen to review the tea., Approved
legal services are provided and to solicit bids for FY01. The evaluation will be used to aid in the process. Ca
of selection of legal services.
David Saunders passed away on July 2, 2000.
The Retirement Administrator will delay sending any information to survivors or beneficiaries until one
week after the death of any retiree.
Scheduled September 20, 2000 and October 25, 2000 Retirement Board meetings.
Meeting adjourned 8:25 A.M.
