Minutes March 2, 2000 ~ - -1 lag. 30 The Meeting was attended by Kim Honetschlager, Chair, Nancy Eaton, Rick Schubert, Ron Boucher, Camille Anthony, Gladys Montgomery Jones, Karen DeFrancesco and Catherine Martin. The minutes from the February 3`d meeting were approved upon a motion from Camille Anthony, seconded by Gladys Montgomery Jones. It was noted that budget revisions have not yet been completed. AT&T Wireless has offered to partially underwrite these expenses. The method of accepting this donation was discussed. Camille Anthony stated that the selectmen would accept the funds on behalf of the town. Catherine Martin stated that she would contact the town manager to further discuss the matter. The public information survey was discussed at great length. It was noted that RMLD will not include any information with their electric bills. Other avenues were then discussed, including: an insert in the Water & Sewer bills, handing them out on Election Day, March 7, and having the survey printed in the local papers. It was decided that Election Day was our best chance to reach a large segment of the town. Surveys would also be made available at the Health Fair on March 9. Gladys Montgomery Jones had prepared a draft of the survey. The committee reviewed and altered each question. A preamble was added. The demographic questions were moved to the end of the survey. It was decided to keep the survey to a single double sided page. Karen DeFrancesco stated that she would prepare the final draft, add the Town Seal to the top of the form and have the form copied. It was decided to make a first run of 2000 copies. It was decided to require that the surveys be returned by March 31. The methods of collection were also discussed. Ron Boucher stated that he should be able to locate some boxes for the completed surveys. It was decided that forms could be returned to Town Hall via the white mail box in the parking lot and at the library. An easel with a town map mounted on a foam core highlighting the Town's open space would also be set up at the Field House on election and later at the library if they agree to let us have some space for the easel and surveys. The schedule of people staffing the table at the Field House during election day was established. Other details of election day, such as supplies were also reviewed. Respectfully Submitted Catherine L. M9 tin
