April 1, 1991
Present: Mary Andreola, Lois Bond, Gladys Cail, Frank Day,
Dorothy Foxon, Eva Hakanson, Ginny Lane-Chairperson,
Linda Nordberg, Loretta Spaulding,
Absent: Virginia Bizzarro, Diane Guilfoyle
Meeting was called to order at 6:36 P.M. by Chairperson Ginny
Lane in the Arnold Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street.
Minutes of the March meeting were accepted on a motion by Gladys
Cail and seconded by Eva Hakanson. 8-0-0
Financial Report
The Financial Report for March was moved by Dorothy Foxon and
seconded by Mary Andreola to be accepted. 8-0-0.
Director's Report
It was moved by Gladys Cail and seconded by Eva Hakanson that the
Director's Report for March be accepted. 8-0-0.
Lois reported on the AARP 'health care policy'. As of December
18, 1990 the Health Care Proxy is a legal document in Ma. and re-
places the living will. Two workshops'will be done this week for
senior citizens.
Tea Dances have been cancelled until the Fall. Peter Sanborn,
where dances are held, will be under renovation for several
months.
Old Business
By-Law Sub-committee will meet at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 1991
in the Arnold Berger Conference Room (one-half hour before the
regular monthly COA Board meeting).

New Business
Thank you note to the Board was received from Barbara Ritchie of
the Tea Dance Committee for supplying the refreshments at the
last Tea Dance.
Seniors will be encouraged to participate in Sunday evening sum-
mer concert series to substitute for decreased recreation funds.
The following two (2) Articles are to be voted on at the upcoming
Spring Town meeting.
Article 20 - deed of Old Fire Station
Article 21 - sale of Old Fire Station
Meeting was adjourned at 7:27 PM which was moved by Gladys Cail
and seconded by Eva Hakanson.
