Guests: John Catlin, Charles Hay from John Catlin and As-
sociates
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson Ginny
Lane in the Berger Conference Room.
Minutes of the February, 1992, were accepted as amended on a mo-
tion by Irving Stackpole and seconded by Mary Andreola. 10-0-0.
The Financial Report was moved by Gladys Cail and seconded by
Virginia Bizzarro. 10-0-0.
Director's Report was moved by Gladys Cail and seconded by Vir-
ginia Bizzarro. 10-0-0.
Leonard Dergay shared information about services made available
by AARP. It was requested that a Health Care Proxy workshop be
conducted for COA members. There is interest in a repeat of the
Homestead Act program.
COA hours need to be included in the monthly volunteer statis-
tics.
Friends material from Reading Recreation was given to members of
the Friends study group. Linda Nordberg will secure material from
Winchester Hospital Friends group. Mary Andreola will coordinate
these explorations.
Irving Stackpole, Chair of the Senior Center Advisory Committee,
gave an update of the committee's activities to date. He reviewed
the critical path necessary to complete the project within the
time frame and thus qualify for the performance bonus.
John Catlin and Charles Hay from John Catlin and Associates, were
introduced to the members. Catlin is the architectural firm
selected to develop plans for the senior center.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. which was moved by Linda
Nordberg and seconded by Eva Hakanson.
