representatives. Six special diets will be introduced to Reading Meals on Wheels participants. The
meal will arrive prepackaged and boldly labeled. A registered dietitian's evaluation and a doctor's
order will be required. The COA will continue to track the progress of this new program. Reading
is the second MVES community to receive this service.
RES and Police Department staff will attend a conference on senior citizens and law enforcement
working together to provide support and protective services. It is a national program called
TRIAD.
The December agenda will focus on refining goals and developing the necessary resources.
