Present:
Andreola, Cail, Dergay, Foxon, Hakanson, Mele, Mundjer, Page, Trainor, Bond
The meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by Chairperson Gladys Cail.
Minutes of the January 9, 1995, meeting were unanimously accepted on a motion by Eva
Hakanson, seconded by Dottye Foxon. 9-0-0. Minutes of the February 13, 1995 meeting were
unanimously accepted on a motion by Eva Hakanson and seconded by Dottye Foxon. 9-0-0.
Financial report was reviewed and accepted on a motion by Sal Mele and seconded by Mary
Mundjer. 9-0-0
Administrator's report was reviewed. Elder Services participation in the Health Fair was
discussed. Mary Andreola reported on the SHINE Medicare HMO meeting attended by Andreola,
Bond and Social Worker Ek.
The secretary wrote a letter to the Board of Selectmen encouraging their consideration of Oliver
Brown as a member of the Council.
Program attendance was discussed as a result of the low attendance at RMHS sponsored dance.
COA is willing to help publicize events if they are informed and if the organization is informed.
Memo will be sent to Coordinator of Volunteers indicating COA assistance.
Police Superior Officers' Association gave a check to purchase a pamphlet rack for safety
information related to the Triad program. Dottye Foxon and Len Dergay will work with Bond to
develop a job description of Triad committee volunteer.
Sandy Trainor will develop a form to analyze effectiveness of COA goals.
Mary Andreola and Eva Hakanson will conduct the Silver Haired Legislature election on April 24
at the Center's Conference Room from 11:00 to 1:00.
