The members discussed the CORI reports for volunteers. The fee is waived for municipalities and
the checking is done in Chelsea. The Coordinator of Volunteers is developing a consent form.
Members felt that Reading, like other communities, should CORI check all volunteers. EOEA
and MCOA will be forwarding suggested guidelines for conducting CORI checks.

are coordinating the afternoon preparations and Betty Cronin and Dottye Foxon are organizing
the evening event.

A summation of the Property Tax Worker Program was distributed and discussed.
Copies of House and Senate bills that pertain to senior issues were distributed to the members.
The list was generated by Sally Hoyt, Silver Haired Legislator. Brad Jones and Richard Tisie's
