In attendance: Anna Carroll Foulds, Alan Smith, Steve Crook, Alan Foulds, Mary Williams. Also attending were Linda Russo and Paul Geoffrion of the Corporation Board. Business 1. The minutes of the April and May 1998 meetings were approved. 2. The Board members in attendance were introduced to the Steering Committee. 3. Prices for T-shirts were revised slightly. T-shirts will sell for $12, sweatshirts for $18, and hooded sweatshirts for $24. XXL shirts would sell for these prices plus any extra cost associated with that size. If the shirts are ready, we will sell them at Summerfest. Mary talked to the High School Drama Club about the possibility of them selling our souvenirs, with a portion of the profits going to their organization. 4. To tie the two "Midnight Ceremonies" together, a ten-foot projection screen was proposed, for use in showing events from the other end of town. Linda said a ballpark rental figure is $500. 5. Steve gave a financial report showing a first cut at budget numbers. 6. Karen announced that the web page is complete and she would like feedback before tying to the town site. It is currently on her personal page. Her goal is to have it available on the town site by the opening day of Summerfest. 7. Dick reported that the RMLD has agreed to be part of the Industrial Expo. Both the Post Office and REI have expressed interest as well. The meeting was adjourned at 9:26 PM. to September 1998, after Labor Day. The Chairman will notify the committee of the date.
