Bills in the amount of $163.00 were reviewed and approved for
payment.
Urban Redevelopment Corp. - Cedar Glen
M. O'Brien gave report on meeting with McNeil Assoc., Inc. to
substantiate figures as submitted by McNeil Assoc., Inc. at hearing
on September 7, 1978. Such figures, having been reviewed by
Reading Public Works Dept. appeared inflated but upon close scrutiny
were well supported by McNeil ASSOC., Inc.
Municipal Space Study
Personnel Subcommittee Report reviewed and accepted. Board agreed
to continue discussions leading to recommendations next meeting
after reviewing Planner's draft report, submitted to each member
present.
Mandatory Referral
M. O'Brien reported conversation with John Agnew regarding use of
word "rental in paragraph 2.3. His feeling is this could be
interpreted to mean "Rental of a single room or rooms to a club
or organization Board agreed this should be pursued with-Town
Counsel before Town Meeting. Meeting with Board of Public Works
yet to be firmed up.

Work Program reviewed. Priority tasks were itemized as follows:
Priority I - A. Land Use including scenic Road Amendment
Buildable Land-
John Agnew to be approached regarding CETA
aides
B. Reading Center - with focus on Policy decisions
in Spring
C. So. Main St. - considered worst problem in
Reading outside of taxes
D. Solid Waste as outlined in Work Program Draft
3 - March 21, 1978
Deleted from work program at this time:
A. Bikeway Plan except as in CBD study
B. Water Supply-ohter than to keep in touch with Board
of Public Works Study Progress
C. Recreation and Open Space Plan

Draft letter reviewed - one correction made - to be typed and
