Zoning Map Redraft
Bob Mayerson recapped briefly our meeting with Conservation
Commission last week and the subsequent meeting with Town
Counsel.
The Board members signed the updated Zoning Map for submission to
and approval of Town Meeting.
Board discussed in detail the issue of whether or not to strike
language describing the Flood Plain and Wetlands districts from
the Zoning By-law text and thereby have their delineation on the
Zoning Map prevail. It was voted that the map prevail, the vote
being 4 in favor of deleting descriptive language and one
abstention. The Article text will therefore specifically cite
paragraphs 4.4.1 through 4.4.1.5 and 4.5.1 through 4.5.1.4
inclusive for deletion. The remainder of the text was reviewed
and agreed upon. Mr. Mayerson was authorized to correct and
submit the text and map, and forward a copy to the Conservation
Commission.
