McDonald C. Peacock P. Hechenbleikner The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. at the Town Hall. Review of 1996 -2005 Capital Improvements Program began with P. Hechenbleikner's distribution of supporting financial reports. Details of the review included renovations anticipated for Coolidge Middle School. P. Hechenbleikner recommended a tour of the facility. G. Thompson agreed to the suggestion and the committee moved to arrange a date for the inspection. The discussion then turned to technology. In addition to the needs of the beading Public Schools detailed in the Reading Public Schools: Technology Plan, November 1994, P. Hechenbleikner presented the needs of the Public Library and the Town Hall. Further discussion focused on the needs identified and the need for the community to design a comprehensive foundation for a state-of-the-art technology network which will serve the town's needs now and into the future. The committee asked for a meeting to be scheduled with Dr. Harutunian to discuss the 1997 School budget. G. Thompson made a motion to accept the minutes of the 12/14/95 meeting. It was seconded by all and voted 5-0-0. The next meeting was set for January 18, 1998 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. Charles Peacock
