Job description to be posted with Alliance for Community Media and a national list serve. • Post office box to be rented for Executive Director responses. • Bernie Svedlow to charge cost of Globe Ad and post office box and will be reimbursed by Reading Public TV, Inc. • Name suggested for the new corporation was Reading Public TV, Inc. TV board could change name if it so desired • Job description for Executive Director was reviewed. Revisions were drafted Lawyer, Peter Epstein needs the following information for incorporation: name of entity. and three incorporating officers. He will have a draft ready. * 11/23 minutes approved 3-0 • Review of discussion with town manager. He felt that there was a mistake in the contract; he believed that the cost of the fiber optic link from town hall to the library should be externalized to cable subscribers. Committee recalled that the town was to pick up the cost, not the subscribers. • Two applications were received for TV Seed Board as of 12/1. Committee is still looking for representation from the schools and from the clergy. • Discussion that cable advisory members seeking position on TV Seed Board should not resign until they are elected to the TV Seed Board • All applicants will be called to appear before Cable Advisory on 12/9 for individual 10 minute interviews • Committee will discuss applicants (without Brenda Smith and Rich Cohen participating as they are applying for TV Seed Board) Respectfully submitted, Bernie Svedlow Vice-chair
