Shirley Buzderewicz, liaison to the Business community, reported
that the Chamber of Commerce will assist us with fund raising at
a later time, perhaps after the first of the new year.
Paul Sweeney reported that the Reading Municipal Light Department
has offered us the use of the cab stand on Haven Street as an
outlet for our merchandise. Proper and effective signage will be
investigated for this building.
B. Fund Raisina
Susan Theophanis reported that the Halloween Howl was very enjoy-
able for all who attended, but that the Ball Committee was disap-
pointed in the turnout. The event was not a fund raiser, but
just about "broke even."
Pride Stride netted about $100 in donation money and about $50 in
sales.
C. Budget Discussion
It was determined that accurate and firm numbers will be needed
from the Book Committee before any groups or individuals can be
approached for funding for the book.
Other general budget items were discussed, but no votes were
taken as this meeting had not been posted in accordance with the
Open Meeting Law.
