The Reading Master Plan Housing Action Strategies (Draft copy) sections
were discussed in preparation for the statement from this committee to
be presented at the open hearing on Oct 7, 1991 concerning the Master
Plan. Attached is a statement that might be used in the appropriate
section of the"plan.
It was voted 5-1 that the role of the Reading Housing Partnership should
be established in the Reading Master Plan - Housing Strategies Action
Plan section concerning affordable housing.
A discussion followed concerning the fact that number of paragraphs
might negate the idea of affordable housing, i.e. p.101-100, 1-C, J, &
M. There was also a question about 3C and 4G pages 100 & 105.being
consistent.
Attached is the memorandum sent to CPDC for the Oct.7, 1991 hearing.
Respectfully submitted,
Mollie Ziegler
