HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-01-11 Board of Health MinutesThe meeting of the Board of Health came to order January 11, 1996 in the Berger Room of Town Hall. Present at the meeting were James Nugent and William Murphy and staff Ruth Clay. Minutes of November 6 and 21, 1995 were approved as presented 2:0:0 Site Plan - Brooks Pharmacy 25 Haven Street: The Board reviewed the plans for Brooks Pharmacy. They had no adverse comments. Other business: Clay gave an update of the first Healthy Communities meeting and gave the date of the neat meeting. Clay gave copies of the applications for the vacant Board of Health position. The Board decided that they did not want to make a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen. Clay gave an update on the Morris' rottweilder and the request to the Board of Selectmen for the removal of the dog until such time as an enclosure is built, tentatively scheduled for January 30. Clay also went over the situation of Weiner v. Hulse and the barrels on the Hulse property. The Board agreed that the matter did not fall within the purview of public health or the littering by-law. The Board reviewed the Massage License Application and made revisions. The Board reviewed a notice about National Public Health Week and asked Clay to discuss the possibility of a Proclamation at a Selectmen's meeting with the Town Manager.
