The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by W. Hughes.

The Committee reviewed the b€..€dget format with Chris Copeland
and Ruth Cogan. The only {change was an $1100 increase to
the Cherry Sheet. Revenue.
discussion ensued reegard ing the summer location of the
Supervisor and her secretary. It has been suggested that
the Supervisor locate year round at the Town Hall, using the
services of existing secretarial staff and eliminating the
position of a part time shimmer secretary. The Committee
voiced the eWment that summer headquarters should remain
at the Field House. They cited move could disturb the
continuity of the program, by removing the Supervisor to a
location away from the center a+ summer activity; the pulse

buses, carrying children to the day's; activities; the
municipal pool which i. heavily used and require a great

The Committee requested that a letter be submitted to the
Town Manager expressing their reservations.

The Committee also agreed <a representative from the
Recreation Department should be at "l"awn Meeting for the
purpose of answering any questions concerning the Budget for
the Recreation Department.

A letter will be sent to Mr. Neil Hannaford requesting his
resignation as an Associate Member of the Recreation
Committee, because of his excessive absence from meetings.
A motion was made by J. Fallon, seconded by J. Connelly to
endorse the appointment of Larry Warnock as a full-time
member of the Recreation Committee. The vote was six in
favor and one abstention
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
8:35 P.M.
