J. Fallon asked if anyone was interested in being appointed to
fill a position on the AdHoc Hockey Committee. J. Pacino volun-
teered.
J. Fallon stated the Committee was requested to send a letter to
Peter H. stating their policy on the billing of lights at Castine
and the lighted softball field. Bill Carroll of RMSB has agreed
he would pay the bill. The meter would be read July 1 and
monthly thereafter. In the Fall he will turn the bill over to
Pop Warner. Recreation will pick up cost of lights at Memorial
Park Bandstand and the skating rinks. After much discussion it
was decided to send a letter to Peter H. stating the above bill-
ing procedures and also that potential funds for lighting the
tennis courts would be discussed at the June meeting in hopes the
Tennis Tournament may generate funds that could pay the lighting
costs.
J. Fallon commented on an article in the paper regarding the
sorry state of the shack at Birch Meadow. He stated within three
weeks it would be either finished or torn down.
