November 7, 1990
7:40 p.m. Chairman Pacino called the meeting to order in the Municipal Light
Department's meeting room.
Members present: Phil Pacino, Ed Murphy, George Theophanis, and Dolores Carroll.
The committee reviewed and accepted the minutes of Meeting 181, as amended, by a vote
of 3-0-1.
Chairman Pacino reported on a meeting he attended with the Moderator, Paul Dustin,
Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, Town Counsel Ted Cohen, to review articles for the
upcoming Subsequent and Special Town Meetings.
All agreed that the first session of town meeting should begin promptly at
7:30 p.m. so that the Special could begin at 7:45 p.m.
With regard to Article 17, Town Counsel felt that the modifications made by the Bylaw
Committee were beyond the scope of the article and drew up a new motion which satisfied
the Board of Health.
Article 17: On motion of George Theophanis, seconded by Dolores Carroll, the
committee voted to recommend Article 17 by a vote of 4-0-0.
The next meeting of the Bylaw Committee will be held on January 16, 1991 at 7:30 p.m.,
with Peter Hechenbleikner invited to review the calendar for the new year.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
