Members present: Ed Murphy, George Theophanis and Dolores Carroll. Guest present: Town Treasurer/Collector Beth Klepeis. Ms. Klepeis joined the meeting to discuss Article 10 of the Subsequent Town Meeting. In prior years employees over the age of 70 could collect a pay check, but retirement was figured only to age 70. This was determined to be discriminatory. Approval m~of Chapter 254 would allow employees over the age of 70 to continue to accrue creditable service, wi-t4i--it&a ly---phy-s al....and me }a PX.c11A,1I3`l t1O ,cv°,.°~p d...._ f~ b L tho ra+ i ro„t w ySteAl. Following the departure of Ms. Klepeis, the Committee reviewed articles for the Subsequent Town Meeting requiring their recommendations. Under Article 18, amending Section 5.11.5 of the General Bylaws, George Theophanis suggested inserting the words, "as defined in Section 7.2.1 of the Zoning Bylaws," following the words, "the Building Inspector." It was also suggested that the motion under Article 19 include Section 7.2.2 of the Zoning Bylaws in its entirety, along with the proposed amendment. Town Counsel Ted Cohen, a member of the Board of Selectmen, along with Building Inspector Stu LeClaire, will be invited to our next meeting for clarification of several issues. 9:35 p.m. Meeting adjourned, with our next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 1991. Respectfully submitted, Dolores S. Carroll
