The first public hearing was on the petition of Alberta Kinsley who was seeking a Variance under Section 5 m 1 „ 2 Table of Dimensional Controls, Zoning ?y-Laws of the TaC3 of Reading, to allow for a Single Family dwelling on the property located at 64 Marla Lane, Reading, MA. Mr. Bill Kir'"slur, the petitioner's son, ti'len stated that 212 years ago his father had passed array and that his maother is now having trouble maintaining the ?property as she must live on a fixed ~e~: x income. she would line to divide _He stated that t her lot to sell a portion of it so that it could be built upon. The Board discussed: that this was a 0-20 Zone which states that the lots rust have 20,000 square feet and 120 feet of frontage. To divide the lot would mean takina, a conforming lot and making 2 non-conforming lots. The public present was concerned that this would be presitant setting an 't hat every house could be eligible to coo this Ms. Kinsley stated that having a house on the lot would look a lot better than what is there now. Sally Nitzsche real' the criteria that would need to be met in order to obtain relief= from a Variance, Mr. :r inslev stated that they had not been told they would have to answer to the criteria and that they were not prepared to do so. Mfrs. Kinsley asked for a continuance so that they could study the criteria. At 7m59 P.M. Mr. Tucker moved to continue the hearing of this subject matter, 64 Marla sane, to July 18, 1991 at 7:00 P.M. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Sally Nitzsche seconded and the motion passed with a `vote of 3-0. At 8:03 P.M. Sally Nitzsche moved to accept the petitioner's request to withdraw without prejudice for the purpose of seeking legal counsel. Carol Scott seconded and the motion passed with a vote of 3-0. At St1O P.M. a -notion was mace and seconded to adjourn and the Board voted unanimously to do so.
