The first public hearing was on the petition of Brent Ames Wilkes who was seeking a Variance under Section <1,2 or a Special Permit in accordance with Sections .3.3.3 and 6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to enclose a corner of the existing house on the property located at 43 Grand Street Reading, MA. Mr. Wilkes then discussed that their house was built in 1;9 At this time they would like to :modernize the kit and fill in the notch in the house to make it 1=: . He stated that they would not increase the encroachment and that the abutters on both sides of the property had no objections. He also stated that this would: be a one story addition. Mr. Jarema stated that both he and Mr. Tucker had seen the property and had no problem with it. They felt that it was just an extension of the existing line. At :1 P.M. Ms a Wi,eworka moved to grant a Special :,permit to Brent Ames Wilkes under Section 6.3.3.3 and ,3>3.4 of the Reading Zoning Bar--Laws in order to enclose an existing corner of the house and build an addition on the property located at 43 Grand Street, Reading, MA. The addition will encroach no further than the existing line of the house as indicated on plan of land by JCD Incorporated and dated. March 14, 1994, Mr. Tucker seconded and the motion passed with a vote of 3-0. The second public heaping was the continued hearing of Barry M. Sullivan. Mr. Jarema stated that the attorney for the applicant had called the office to withdraw. He was told $v ha t they would have to come in and say so ¢ The applicant was not present so the Board decided to wait until 7:30 to see if the applicant would, appear. Mr. jarema seconded and the motion passed with a vote of -0-1, Mr. rarema moved to accept the minutes of Aril 29, 1993- Ms. Wiewor a seconded and the motion passed with a vote of At 7:50 the hearing for Barry M. Sullivan was opened. The applicant or their attorney was not present, It was discussed that the hearing was continued at the request of the petitioner. The attorney had called sometime this afternoon, to withdraw and was told he would have to be present. The Board discussed hoer to handle the case, and it was decided to deny without prejudice. At *7:55 P.M. s> ieworka moved to deny without prejudice the petition of Barry M. Sullivan who was seeking a Special Permit, Section 603,303 and 6.3.3.4 of the Beading Zoning F.-.r.:aws for property located at 45 Lewis Street to permit a change in the structure and to convert part of it to a family room.
