Letters from RMLD:
The RMLD asks the RHC to endorse the work being done on Ash Street. This
endorsement will help them to apply for grants to National Historical Trust and Mass
Historical Commission.

positive prints(8"x10") made from existing glass negative plates.
Potential balance of FY95 budget: $ 274.82
The budget for RHC recommended by the Town Manager for. FY96 is $ 500.00.
We will meet with Finance Committee for a total of $ 750.00

Report from D. O'Sullivan:
Brooks Drug are retaining window openings, also retain art deco lights and metal trim
CPDC persuaded Brooks to scale down sign along Haven Street. Will support a variance
for sign facing parking lot.
Pearl Street School
Letter from John Kirby,Boston Corporate Art discuss obtaining historic images of
Reading to help decorate the Assisted Living Residence (Pearl Street School). Chmn
Palmer loaned them a copy of "Woods End"
We wonder how much of the interior of the School is being saved.
Archives:
An archival student(Lionel Sudland??) left some old files.No explanation
Still working on obtaining a computer.
Information Dissemination:
A note from Ron and Ellen Lopez asking about house at 141 Summer Av. Possible
demolition. Later they said they would get a recommendation by an architect before
talking to us.
Ph' ne call from Ann Gilbert about house at 121 Willow St. Is it historic? It is on the
lo7al inventory.
Annual report has been submitted.
Streetscape:
Letter from Mass Iistorical Commission about Route 129.
Gladys Jones to write letter to Real Estate Offices in Town offering historic information
on houses.
