Sandberg Tom Devaney(Guest) Meeting began with introduction of Tom Devaney, Builder. Property at 89 Main Street(Leaning Elm Farm) Mr Devaney stated that original house on property is probably dated from 1735. It is in good condition; a two-family house with aluminum siding. Plans are to recondition inside of house as needed. No firm decision as to outside of house. The Barn on the property dates pro bV from 1900. Roberta Sullivan inquired as to whether it was a "Sears Roebuck ke"? Mr Devaney feels the Barn is not safe and should be torn down or removed from the property.He feels it would be possible that the Commission could view the Barn. Minutes: r Motion: D. Adams Accept Treasurer's Report Passed Old Business: A Memo from Town Clerk to all Board, Committee and Commission members to take the oath of office. A Site Plan review application for 80 New Crossing Road - No action necessary. A letter to Joseph Delaney, Town Engineer, thanking him for his appearance at an RHC meeting to discuss the Rt 129 expansion. Correspondence: 1. A series of Preservation material sales promotions 2. Celebrate Independence Day at House of Seven Gables - Salem 3. Agenda-Board of Selectmen, 9 July 1996 4. Letter from MHC to RMLD about grant. 5. New telephone numbers for National Trust 9. Memo from Town Clerk-Distribution list for 1996 Street list Streetscape: Letter to Joseph Delaney, Town Engineer from Old South Church about parking in front of the Church. It appears the new plan for Rt 129 would eliminate parking on the north side of the street. Suggest RHC obtain a copy of letter from MHC to Joseph Delaney Reorganization of Historical Commission: Motion: J. McCauley; sec V.
