Guidelines and covenants are first.
Virginia talked with -Waldo Jackson, a house mover, who
said that moving the chimney would be difficult. The rubble would need to be
one dammesf_up with concrete D Larry Sorley, consultant, said it should be saved, but could
gar. never be used. He does not believe in clay liners. There is a hearth brick in the south
east corner of the basement. New findings: carpenter marks in the basement, clock
cove is unique, interior wall in the dining room should remain, and crown molding
should stay. Potential covenants should cover some original plaster and lathing and
the dormer should remain within one bay. Clay will write up preliminary covenants
and guidelines.
7. Ted McIntyre from the DPW dropped in and told us painting the rocket water tower
would cost $300,000 and would be-purely cosmetic. Replacement would cost
$500,000. The repair figures are not in yet. IN irs
8. Everyone should get a draft of the covenants before the next meeting, June 11.
