Library entrance redesign: director presented their plans. Schematics were presented showing and extended entryway allowing more usable space inside. 2. Minutes approved for Nov. 5, 1998. 3. Treasurer's report: $1962.63 special revenue. the regular account is about $800. Bill for Redstone Camera is $10 4. The commission purchased Painting Historic Exteriors from the Bay State Historic League for $10. Virginia asked Roberta to review it and report back to the commission. 5. Virginia and David wrote a letter to the Meadow Brook Golf Club to thank them for their help in saving the Poster-Emmerson House. Corrections were made and the letter will be sent out. 6. Another letter written by Virginia to be sent to the Sidelinkers setting out our decisions as regards to the window/s on the side/s of the entryway and blown in insulation. 7. A photo was lent to Dean Erickson from 89 Main St. 8. Thank you note was received from Longwood Place in regards to our antiques appraisal day. 9. Jean Baxter is loaning some photos to us. We will be making copies. 10. It was suggested that the Knights of Columbus might be able to use the old Police Station. 11. 42 Chute St.: Carriage house. Owners want a variance for a separate residence in their carriage house. The property would have one owner with one residence being a rental unit. The zoning board will hear the case soon. The commission is in agreement that the proposed use is preferable to destruction. 12. 379 Haverhill St. will be open from 11-1 Thursday, December 3. 13. Poster-Emerson House: more pictures. 14. Conservation of original 1854 map: Col.. Hoxie made a motion to approve $800 if the money comes from the Preservation Trust. Approved 4-0-0 15. Adjourned: 10:11 16. Approved as amended: Jan. 5, 1999.
