ANNUAL REPORT
Please note the following items which should be corrected in
the draft report:
Under the key accomplishments note that the Planning
Board made use of the word-processing machine at the
High School, the Town machine was not made available
to us. Also in that paragraph the one page map was
the one reproduced and updated The Zoning maps are
39 detailed maps on 35 sheets.
In reference to the buffer strip this was Article 51
of the 1980 Spring Town Meeting.
The commuter rail section refers to the Central Transpor-
tation Planning Staff (MBTA). CTPS is a separate entity
and not part of the MBTA and likes to be kept distinct.
As regards the permitting of canopies in front yards, this
allowance is made for Industrial districts only.
Under proposals for new construction, please note that Trancoa
property has been reopened for business by Incon, a subsidiary
of Transitron. Transitron is also the parent company of Trancoa.
Incon produces electronic parts without the volatile chemicals
used by Trancoa. This business is a totally different use of
the property.
