Chairman Mitchel called the meeting to order at 7:05 PnM, in Romm 133, Reading Memorial High School with Board members M. Rich, F.. Orlando, J. Shaw and K. Messina present. Correspondence Mail was reviewed.. Town Meeting Issues Article 7 - Adoption of Chapter 90, Section 20A ° The Board voted no action on this article. The adoption of this article is made necessary by the fact that the Towns will be made responsible for billing and collecting parking violations and funding for the necessary supplies and services.is covered under Article 8. The Board voted to take no action on this article also. Article 9 - The Board discussed the conversion of the Highland School and the resulting vacancy of the Library. After much discussion the Board voted to recommend this article by a vote of 2°-1-1. Article 10 - The Board voted to take no action on this article which calls for the formation of a new Hazardous Waste Committee. 'Aarticle 12 - The Board voted to take no action on the article. The discussion on this article included the pros and cons of a 5 man Board of Selectmen vs. 3 man board. Article 14 - Refurbishing of football field and high school track funds- the Board voted to take no action on this article. Article 25 and 26 - Recreational uses restrictions was unanimously supported by Board, Articles 27, 23 and 29 - No action on this article will be voted until after the public hearing. Articles 30 and 31 - The Board reviewed the correspondence from, the Conservation Commission and voted to unanimously support this article. The next meeting of the Planning Board will be on Tuesday, November 10, 1981 at which the Board will also hold a public hearing on Articles 27, 28 and 29. m Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to Town Meeting at 8:05 P.M.
