The Board was informed by Selectman Marvin Rosenthal that John MacDonnell's resignation was accepted by Town Clerk. Betty Knox announced her resignation as Vice-Chairwoman. Her resignation was accepted. She will continue as a Board Member. Motion was made to elect new Chairman. Tony Barrasso made a motion to elect Andrew Mulhinch. Donna Ruth made.a motion to elect,Lee Winslow. Andy Mulhinch was elected. Votes - Andy Mulhinch - 5 Lee Winslow - 2 The meeting was handed over to Andy and he recommended we follow agenda that was followed at the joint meeting with Select- man January 21, 1982. 1. Scheduling of Meeting Nights We will continue to meet the first Tuesday of every month at 8PIVI at the Commurdty Center. 2. Car Allowances Voted Sixteen cents a mile until July 1, 1982. As of July 1, 1982, allowance for mileage will become nineteen cents. 3. Salary Increase Voted Until Board discusses, revietds and evaluates employees performance, there will be no raise. This concerns Rheta McKinley. A performance evaluation will also be done for Marie Upton, part-time clerk. 4. Gift of $1000 Voted Turn money over to Selectman to enter into Town Treasurer books. Voted Rheta McKinley, to purchase vests, bootees with money from donation. 2 Council on Aging lnergency meeting January 26, 1982 5. mystic Valley Elder Care Grants $1600 The Board is to understand that Grant money for Out- reach Worker has run out. She is presently being paid on a contractual basis out of expenses. The Board has to vote in order to have this practice continue. Voted At our next meeting February 2, 1982, past state- ments, cancelled checks, deposit slips be presented to Board followed by a town audit. Voted Money will be appropriated for keys to front door, and office of Council on Aging also to file drawers.
