Secretary's report was accepted with the following omission: "Frank Lemaire and Arthur Polychrones and Selectman John Price will meet with Mr. Brothers of McNeil Associates, concerning transportation to Cedar Glen residents". Mr. Lemaire stated meeting with Mr. Brothers was cancelled and Council Van would provide transportation to Cedar Glen residents. John MacDonnell questioned the fact that John Price, a non-board member, objected to the title Director for Mrs. McKinley at the board meeting of January 14, 1981. He also pointed out that the motion by Donna Ruth was out of order because it was not an agenda item. A motion by John MacDonnell to rescind the motion made at January 14 meeting on title of Director did not pass. Motion by John MacDonnell to appoint committee to study the job des- cription of person who fulfills leadership position for council. Se- conded by Arthur Polychrones - motion passed. Copies of budget as approved by Finance Committee were passed out, John MacDonnell discussed each item at length. On a motion by Harold Wyatt it was voted to table the budget until March meeting. There was considerable discussion covering the need for the Outreach Worker and paid Meals on Wheels driver. No action taken at this time. Donna Ruth read a letter from the church group planning a weekend Meals on Wheels program. The Council will supply names of Meals on Wheels recipients to church group; however, each person will have to sign a release. Mrs. McKinley will look into legal form to be used. Harold Wyatt then presented a letter given to him by Selectman John Price which was sent to Board of Selectmen by John MacDonnell and Frank Lemaire. Mrs. O'Brien gave a brief talk on the views of the Selectmen-- "She would like us to be friends." Page 2--Secretary's report--February 11, 1981 Several Board members objected to a letter being written on Council stationery without knowledge of the full Board.
